Earth potential may be achieved on two vessels by connecting the main one to the earthing point and bonding the secondary container to the first, as shown. Stainless steel clamps are recommended for pharmaceutical / clean room applications or where high corrosion resistance is required.
NFPA 77 states that: When being filled, metal containers and associated fill equipment should be bonded together and grounded (7.13.3).
