Controlling Electrostatic Hazards
Training Package (DVD)DVD Training Package

The scale and speed of modern manufacturing processes, coupled with the nature and properties of many raw materials, plant and packaging, gives rise to the problem of electrostatic charge accumulation. Indeed, if your organisation stores, handles or processes flammable liquids, powders or gases, there is every likelihood that you are exposed to the risk of ignitions caused by static electricity.

Even a plant that contains extensive earthing and bonding measures designed to control static electricity is only as good as the people working with the equipment provided. In our experience, the best way to ensure that static control equipment is used effectively is to make staff fully aware of the dangers posed by electrostatic discharge.

The package may be used to train operators, technical staff and management in either a group environment or on an individual basis (particularly useful for training new starters as soon as possible).
